Race 1 of the Run Swim Canberra series
The Race 1 of the Run Swim Canberra Series is kicking off its first race, and it’s shaping up to be a must-attend event for athletes of every stripe. Whether you’re new to multisport events or a seasoned competitor, the Aquathlon offers a range of distances to suit your level and goals. Taking place on the 15th of January 2025 at the scenic Black Mountain Peninsula, this event promises to be as exciting as it is picturesque.
For those looking to test their limits, the Long Course challenges participants with a 600m swim, a 4km run, and another 600m swim to finish. If you’re after something a bit less daunting, the Short Course with a 400m swim, 3km run and another 400m swim might be your ticket to aquathlon glory. And let’s not forget the kids—there’s a Long Course and Short Course tailored just for them, ensuring a fun and competitive atmosphere for our younger athletes.
Swimmers seeking to focus solely on their strokes can take on the 1-mile Swim Only event. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the water and push your swimming prowess to the limit. All these events take place in the safe and controlled environment of Black Mountain Peninsula, allowing you to compete with peace of mind.

On the Day Registration will be available from 4pm to 5pm on Wednesday 15th January 2025-however will be at a higher price
