The Canberra Swim Run Series wraps up with the ACT Aquathlon Championships. There’s no better way to start a Canberra morning than diving into the calm waters of Lake Burley Griffin and running along the paths of Black Mountain Peninsula! This final round brings the focus back to the classic Swim–Run format. Whether you’re chasing a state title, a personal best, or just the thrill of crossing the line, this event is made for you.
From first-timers discovering multisport to regulars chasing titles, Race #3 captures everything that makes Canberra’s Triathlon scene special: a friendly start line, a stunning course, and a finish that leaves you smiling all day.
Pathway to Abu Dhabi 2026 – This event serves as a selection race for the Australian Age-Group Multisport Team for the 2026 World Triathlon Multisport Championships in Abu Dhabi. A strong result here can secure your chance to wear the green-and-gold on the world stage. More info here.

- Short Course (14+): 500 m swim / 2.5 km run
- Teaser (14+): 250m Swim / 2.5 km run
- Swim Only (14+): 2 km swim
- Kids Long Course (10+): 100 m Swim / 2 km run
- Kids Short Course (7-9): 100 m Swim / 1 km run

ACT Triathlon Refund and Postponement Policy
Refund Policy
- Cancellations more than 6 weeks (42 days) from the event: Full refund.
- Cancellations between 6 weeks (42 days) and 2 weeks (14 days) from the event: 50% refund.
- Cancellations within 2 weeks (14 days) of the event: 20% refund.
Please note that as a non-profit organization, operational costs are incurred before the event. If you withdraw, these costs are absorbed by ACT Triathlon.
Postponement Policy
In the unlikely event that the Race Directors determine that the event cannot take place due to safety concerns or circumstances beyond our control (e.g., pandemic, severe weather, force majeure, etc.), all participants will have their race registration automatically moved to the rescheduled event date.
Alternatively, for postponement-related reasons:
- Participants can transfer their entry to another participant for the rescheduled event.
In addition, participants acknowledge that they will have no claim against the event organizers for any loss or damage arising from such postponement.
