The Canberra Swim Run Series is back for another summer of fun, fitness, and friendly competition! Featuring two exciting mid-week races leading into race 3, the ACT Aquathlon Championships. This series is the perfect way to make the most of Canberra’s warm evenings.
Each event brings a new challenge, giving athletes of all levels the chance to test their endurance, speed, and transitions across the scenic Black Mountain Peninsula course. Whether you’re a first-timer discovering multisport or a seasoned competitor tuning up for the season ahead, there’s a race that’s right for you.
As the sun sets over Lake Burley Griffin, dive in, find your rhythm, and enjoy the atmosphere that only a summer evening race can bring.
Race Options
- Long Course (14+): 600 m swim / 4 km run / 600 m swim
- Short Course (14+): 400 m swim / 3 km run / 400 m swim
- Swim Only (14+): 1.2 km swim
- Kids Long Course (10+): 100 m swim / 2 km run
- Kids Short Course (7–9): 100 m swim / 1 km run

ACT Triathlon Refund and Postponement Policy
Refund Policy
- Cancellations more than 6 weeks (42 days) from the event: Full refund.
- Cancellations between 6 weeks (42 days) and 2 weeks (14 days) from the event: 50% refund.
- Cancellations within 2 weeks (14 days) of the event: 20% refund.
Please note that as a non-profit organization, operational costs are incurred before the event. If you withdraw, these costs are absorbed by ACT Triathlon.
Postponement Policy
In the unlikely event that the Race Directors determine that the event cannot take place due to safety concerns or circumstances beyond our control (e.g., pandemic, severe weather, force majeure, etc.), all participants will have their race registration automatically moved to the rescheduled event date.
Alternatively, for postponement-related reasons:
- Participants can transfer their entry to another participant for the rescheduled event.
In addition, participants acknowledge that they will have no claim against the event organizers for any loss or damage arising from such postponement.
