The Race 2 of the University of Canberra Aquathlon Series is kicking off its first race, and it’s shaping up to be a must-attend event for athletes of every stripe. Whether you’re new to multisport events or a seasoned competitor, the Aquathlon offers a range of distances to suit your level and goals. Taking place on the 24^th of January 2024 at the scenic Black Mountain Peninsula, this event promises to be as exciting as it is picturesque.

For those looking to test their limits, the Long Course challenges participants with a 250m swim, 2.5km run, 200m swim, 2km run, 150m swim and a 1.5km run to finish. If you’re after something a bit less transitioning, the Short Course with a 200m swim, 2km run, 150m swim and a 1.5km run to finish might be just you ticket to aquathlon glory. And let’s not forget the kids—there’s a Long Course and Short Course tailored just for them, ensuring a fun and competitive atmosphere for our younger athletes.

Early registrations are open now, with an early bird price to reward the eager beavers among you. Don’t leave it too late, though—standard pricing kicks in after the 14^th of January, and registration closes sharply on the 21^st of January 2024.
